work from artist residency at Joya: Art and Ecología in the highlands of Almería, Spain - Summer 2025

I am a designer, artist, art historian and researcher.
My work is rooted in more-than-human ways of thinking and making, with the intention of making ecological networks and entanglements visible and tangible in order to change how we care for and understand our environment.

I am propelled by my curiosity about how systems (material and immaterial) function and by my desire to self-regulate through movement and touch. Hand and full-body movement like weaving, walking, picking, planting, rocking, sifting are some of the embodied learning methods I engage in daily.

I conduct ecological research, and write about art theory and history. Video work, writing, and handmade artist books document my processes and share research outcomes with others.
